I am an assistant professor in the Department of Social and Political Science at the Universidad Católica del Uruguay. I received my Ph.D. in political science from the University of Essex in 2014.
My primary research interests are in international and comparative political economy. My current research focuses on the analysis of international trade and domestic policy in developing countries. I also work on labor informality and social policy, human capital investment, access to basic services, and economic voting.
Between 2013-2015, I have been founding director of the Winter School in Methods and Data Analysis UCU-DCSP, in Montevideo.
